Terms of service
Effective October 23, 2026
These terms are the agreement between VybeDawgs LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company doing business as Narremos (“we” or “us”), and you, for Narremos: narremos.com, our app, and the calls we place (“Narremos”).
They say what Narremos is and isn’t, how plans are billed and cancelled, what happens to a family’s archive, what you and we may do, and what each of us answers for.
1. Accepting these terms
When you accept them. You accept these terms when you create an account, when you accept an invitation as a storyteller or family member, or when you subscribe and check the box at checkout.
Who can accept them. You must be 18 or older. Children and teenagers don’t have accounts of their own, and a parent can send their child’s questions from their own account, as our privacy policy says.
Where. Accounts are for people who live in the United States. Storytellers are called at phone numbers in the United States. We’ll add other places as Narremos opens there.
What’s part of them.
Our price list, as it reads when you subscribe, is part of these terms.
The consents you give in Narremos are agreements of their own, each in its own words. That includes a storyteller’s directions about their archive after they’re gone, which stay separate from these terms (section 11).
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, and our crisis protocol explains what our AI does if someone may be in danger.
2. What Narremos is, and isn’t
What it is. Narremos keeps a storyteller’s stories, knowledge and wisdom in their own words and voice. It’s built from calls we place at the times they choose. The family can listen, read, and send questions for the next call.
The interviewer is an AI, not a person. It says so when a call starts, and whenever someone asks.
No advice. Narremos tells a storyteller’s experience in their words: “I always swore by chamomile”, never “you should take…”. Nothing in Narremos is medical, legal, financial, mental-health or other professional advice, and nothing it says replaces a qualified professional.
AI can be wrong. A transcript can misstate or mix up what was said. The recording is the record.
A copy of a storyteller’s voice, once we offer one, says only their answers, and only with their written release. Each clip it makes is labelled as made by AI.
Not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. If you’re thinking about suicide or self-harm, call or text 988 in the United States. Our crisis protocol is at narremos.com/crisis-protocol.
Stories are the storyteller’s to tell. We don’t check what anyone says or adds for accuracy, and stories can name living people.
No promised result. We don’t promise that a storyteller will talk, that a call will connect, or that a copy of a voice will sound like the person.
What you need. An internet connection and an up-to-date web browser. A storyteller needs a phone that takes our calls.
3. Accounts, and who does what
The account owner opens the family’s account, pays for the plan, invites storytellers and family members, and names a successor (section 12).
A storyteller gives their own yeses, chooses when we call, and names who controls their stories after they’re gone (section 11). The account owner can’t change a storyteller’s choices.
Family members hear and read every call in the family’s archive, and send questions, while the account owner keeps them in the circle.
Your sign-in is yours. Keep it to yourself, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
4. Inviting others: the account owner’s duties
When you invite someone, you agree to these:
Invite people by their own contact details, and only people you know.
A storyteller says yes for themselves. Give us a storyteller’s phone number only so that they can agree to our calls themselves. Never agree for them, or tap their yeses for them. We call no one until they’ve agreed.
Tell us at once if a storyteller no longer wants our calls, if their number changes or passes to someone else, or if they die, so the calls stop.
Adults only. Invite only adults, 18 or older. A parent in the family’s circle can send their own child’s questions from their own account.
What you send. Send nothing unlawful in a question, and nothing you don’t have the right to share.
5. Plans
The free first conversation. A family’s first conversation is free, with no card. It never turns into a paid plan: you subscribe only if you choose to. The price list says what counts as that conversation.
The plan. A plan keeps the calls going and keeps your family’s archive. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. At the start of each period, we charge the plan’s price, plus any taxes, to the payment method you gave at checkout. The price list gives each plan’s price and billing period, and says what it includes.
Before you pay. Your account’s plan page shows these renewal terms and how to cancel, beside a box you tick to accept them, and you accept or decline before you pay. We keep a record of your yes.
Your copy. When you subscribe, we email you the plan’s renewal terms and how to cancel, with a link to these terms as they read that day.
Price changes. We email you at least 7 days, and no more than 30 days, before a change to your plan’s price takes effect, and you can cancel before it applies.
Once a year, we email you your plan’s terms and how to cancel.
Payments, through Link. We sell our plans through Stripe’s Managed Payments, so Stripe’s affiliate Link is the merchant of record for your payment. Link charges you, adds and collects any sales taxes, and sends your receipt. Link’s own purchase terms also apply to your payment, and checkout shows them. We never see your full card number.
Taxes. Sales taxes are added where the law requires them to be collected, and checkout shows them.
If a payment fails, we may pause the plan’s calls until it’s paid, or end the plan.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, online, from your account, or by email to help@narremos.com. Your plan then ends at the end of the period you’ve paid for, and the calls and the plan’s features continue until then. We don’t refund part of a period, except where the law requires it or section 13 says so. Link may also refund a payment under its own terms.
7. Changes
To Narremos. We may change, add or remove features and plans.
To these terms. We post every change here with its new effective date, and email account holders before it applies. If you don’t want the change, you can cancel your plan, or close your account, before it applies.
8. Using Narremos fairly
Use Narremos lawfully, and as these terms allow. Don’t:
record anyone who hasn’t agreed to it, or give a yes for someone else;
use Narremos, a recording or a clip to impersonate anyone or to fool anyone, such as a bank or a relative;
try to make a copy of a voice say anything but the storyteller’s own answers, or remove a label or watermark from a clip;
copy, scrape or download Narremos in bulk, or use it to build another product or to train an AI model, except for your family’s own downloads;
get around our limits or security, or reach accounts or archives you’re not allowed to;
interfere with Narremos, or with anyone else’s use of it.
We may limit use that’s automated, or far beyond what a family’s use needs.
9. Your content
It stays yours. You keep whatever rights you have in what you say, record and add. A storyteller’s stories are theirs.
What you let us do with it. You let us, and the service providers who run Narremos for us, store, copy, transcribe, index, analyze and otherwise process it, including with AI models. We do that to give your family Narremos, to keep the archive, to run and protect Narremos, and to check and improve how well Narremos works, as our privacy policy describes and the law allows.
A copy of a storyteller’s voice is made and used only under that storyteller’s written release.
When the permission ends. It ends when the content is deleted, except for anything the law requires us to keep and for what the storyteller’s directions keep for their family (section 11).
Our right to remove. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
10. Our material
It’s ours. Narremos’ software, design, questions and prompts, and the Narremos name and logo, belong to us or to those who license them to us.
What you may do with it. While you have access, you may use Narremos for your family, and keep the downloads of your archive.
Suggestions. If you send us ideas, we may use them freely, with nothing owed to you.
11. After a storyteller’s death
Their directions govern. Each storyteller names, in Narremos, who controls their stories after they’re gone, and can change or cancel that direction at any time. The direction is separate from these terms. Where the law allows, it overrides a different direction in a will, trust or other record.
Their controller decides, within the storyteller’s directions: who may hear their stories, and whether the uses of their voice and image they agreed to continue, until the end they chose. Tell us of a death, and we act on the directions.
Copies of their voice follow their release and our retention schedule, which in some states ends a copy sooner than the storyteller asked.
The calls stop when we learn of a storyteller’s death.
Proof. We may ask for reasonable proof of a death, and for the estate’s confirmation, before we act on it.
Where the law gives others a say, such as an estate or heirs over a person’s likeness, we follow it.
12. The account owner’s successor, and when a plan ends
The successor. The account owner names a successor, who can take over the account, its plan and its invitations if the account owner dies or can no longer act. We may ask for reasonable proof. If no successor takes over, a storyteller’s controller or another adult in the family’s circle can. To take over, write to us at help@narremos.com.
When a plan ends. The calls stop. The family’s archive stays, with its downloads, until we delete it, and before we do, we email the account owner, so the family can download it first.
13. Closing an account, and if we stop offering Narremos
You may close your account at any time, by writing to us at help@narremos.com from the account’s email address. Cancel any plan first, from your account. Then we delete the account and the family’s archive as our privacy policy says, so download what you want to keep first.
We may suspend or close an account, or end a plan, if someone breaks these terms or the law in using Narremos.
If we stop offering Narremos, we’ll tell account holders by email before we do, so families can download their archives. Then we delete them, except what the law requires us to keep, unless a business that takes over Narremos takes on our obligations to you.
Money back. If we end your paid plan for any reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of the period you’ve paid for.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Narremos is provided as it is and as available. Beyond what these terms promise, we make no promises about it, and we disclaim every implied warranty, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that Narremos will always be available or free of errors, that transcripts will be accurate, or that content will never be lost. Download copies of anything you want to keep.
Your state’s consumer protection law may give you rights that can’t be excluded. This section doesn’t limit them.
15. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows:
we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for lost profits, or for lost or corrupted content, even if we were told they were possible; and
our total liability for everything to do with Narremos is no more than what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
These limits don’t apply to liability the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
16. Governing law and disputes
The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania govern these terms, without regard to any conflict-of-laws rule that would apply another jurisdiction’s law, except where the law where you live requires its own law to apply.
Courts. Any lawsuit must be brought in a state or federal court in Pennsylvania that has jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
17. General terms
Transfers. You may not transfer these terms or your account, except to a successor under section 12. We may transfer them, without your consent, to an affiliate or to a business that takes over Narremos and takes on our obligations to you.
The whole agreement. These terms, with what section 1 makes part of them, are the whole agreement between you and us about Narremos.
If a part fails. If a court holds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part is enforced as far as the law allows, and the rest stays in effect.
No waiver. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we haven’t given it up.
Notices. We send notices to the email address on your account. You can send us notices at help@narremos.com, or by mail to the address below.
What lasts. Sections 9 to 11 and 14 to 17 continue after an account closes or a plan ends.
Words. “Including” means including without limitation.
